We are excited about this event and hope you can come. Over the last few months we have been working with Plains FM and NASDA students from Ara to produce a series of podcasts that share stories from our pre-Treaty history.
The history of New Zealand is largely unknown – there are many hidden stories. Through this collection of short stories of encounters between Maori and European prior to the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, brought to life in a series of short podcasts, we can learn more about some of the shared history of all peoples of Aotearoa. When these narratives are digested collectively, a larger story unfolds.
Nibbles and refreshments will be provided at the event.
Bookings are encouraged, but not essential. This is part of the Beca Christchurch Heritage Festival 2019.
